Effective talking therapies...

Counselling or CBT are effective ways to address mental and emotional distress in order to make changes and achieve recovery, for a happier, more fulfilling life.

I offer a free consultation following initial contact and brief information sharing. I mainly work remotely via Zoom or MS Teams and I can offer face-to-face appointments if appropriate. I know, these first steps can be daunting, but once you make that call, most fears can be alleviated and a way to  move forward can be discussed.

A
s well as private practice, I also work part-time for the NHS and BUPA.

I have a wealth of experience with many life issues and specialise in working with clients around all anxiety problems, relationship issues, bereavement, ADHD and ASD,  chronic illnesses such as diabetes and support for parents.

I use philosophy and previous studies to work holistically with clients if required; in areas of self-development, self-esteem and self-worth. I can also work with you on a psychodynamic level using various esoteric tools to aid insightfulness and a deeper meaning to one's life.

I serve all surrounding areas of  West  Devon and East Cornwall, around the Tamar Valley and the Tavistock area. My main work is  carried out by video calls, nationally for private clients, NHS and BUPA.

Lesley is amazing, she's been an invaluable support to me throughout my treatment for anxiety and panic disorder, and she continues to be now with all the tools she taught me that I use in my daily life.

I've never met a more lovely, caring and understanding person who genuinely wants the best for you. I had many ups and downs and Lesley never lost faith in me, I'd like to thank you deeply for all of your help and support I don't know where I'd be now if it wasn't for you.

Lesley has been a great help to me these last few months, helping me work through the issues I was dealing with at the time and assisting me in recognising underlying ones that I would've remained unaware of if not for her help. I'd never have thought I would come so far so quickly when I started, but I have - and it's all thanks to her.

Lesley is a fantastic counsellor who has helped me with my self-development greatly. I feel she has helped me to understand myself better, take control of my anxiety using actual methods that work for me as an individual whilst also working on, and helping me to move forward with bereavement. I came to Lesley with a whole array of issues but she has helped me work through them all and I can honestly say I am so glad I chose her! I would highly recommend Lesley.

I couldn't thank Lesley enough for everything she has done for me. I've come so far from where I was and it was all down to her. She made me feel at ease from the start. I was at a pointing my life where I felt that I was going to suffer with panic attacks for the rest of my life, but I was wrong. Thanks to Lesley, that is not the case. She has taught me so much and will be forever grateful.

Lesley is a wonderful counsellor who has helped me to explore my difficulties and to accept myself and find my strengths. Lesley is very adaptable and is able to help on lots of different levels. My way to describe Lesley is you feel like you are in a safe pair of hands with a very real person. I came to Lesley with problems relating to anxiety and she has helped with that whilst exploring much more with me.
